Welcome to S1000D
S1000D is the International specification for technical publications utilizing a common source database. The goal of this site is to allow the sharing of work and ideas, and to track the progress of work of the US S1000D specification committees.
Membership in the site implies a level of commitment to contribute knowledge and effort to the advancement of S1000D from a U.S. defense perspective. All members are expected to participate in analysis, and updates to the standard.
This includes, among other things, contributions to meetings and technical solutions. For this reason members have authority to publish and edit information on the web site. We are always delighted to have new members who are willing to make the commitment to help with the effort.
